The first few days at daycare can be an emotional experience for both child and parent, particularly during drop-offs. Our educators have a lot of experience helping families with this transition and they will be on hand to help both you and your child get set up for the adventure.

Overview of our childcare

Once you have made the decision to enrol your child, there are a few things we need in order to secure their place:

Step #1 - Request enrolment confirmation

Contact the centre leader and outline your required start date and days of care.

Step #2 - Email with a confirmation enrolment

We will send you a link to our online enrolment platform. Complete the form and pay the S200 enrolment fee.

Step #3 - Provide documentation

Once you have completed the enrolment confirmation, you will be sent an information sheet to fill in details such as your child’s emergency contact, any medical conditions, doctors, and more. You are also required to upload documents including:

  • Copy of birth certificate

  • Immunisation record

  • Copy of any parenting orders

  • Copy of documents related to existing medical conditions

*Please note: Your blue book is not accepted as a record of immunisation. Immunisation records can be downloaded directly from myGov. For more information. please click here.

Step #4 - Pre-enrolment meeting

You will receive an email outlining the enrolment conditions and a request for a pre-enrolment meeting so that our centre leaders can better understand your care requirements and create a tailored plan for your child's start at Being.

Waitlist

Placements are offered on a first in’ basis so at times we may need to place your child on a waitlist. If you are interested in being placed on the list, please fill out our full. enrolment form and pay the S200 enrolment confirmation fee.

If a spot becomes available, we will provide you with an enrolment offer within a month of your allocated start date. If there is no availability, we will provide a refund of your enrolment fee. If you haven't heard from us, please get in touch via our Contact Us page a minimum of 8 weeks in advance to confirm your child’s placement.

Child Care Subsidy
(CCS)

Australian citizens and permanent residents are eligible for CCS. You can submit a claim for CCS using your Centrelink Online Account through myGov (my.gov.au). Please click here to find out more.

It is the responsibility of the parents to register with Centrelink and get the eligibility for CCS assessed. You will be required to pay full fees until your CCS application is approved.

Please note that the CCS is calculated and paid to us directly by Centrelink. As a provider, we just submit the attendance hours to Centrelink. If you have any queries about the payments, it is best that you contact Centrelink directly.
